Boosting Job Competence Based Matching with ESCO

Utrecht, October 4, 2017 - The European Commission officially introduces the ESCO standard at the "ESCO: Connecting people with jobs" conference 2017 in Brussels on October 9-10. At this conference, the EC, EURES and WCC will present a special workshop.

The workshop will provide information on how ESCO can support successful competence-job matching, using examples from EURES and WCC use cases. The main aim of the debate is to identify common challenges and share knowledge and examples of interesting practices and ideas about how organizations and SMEs can boost job search and job matching by using ESCO. Within this workshop, SMEs/organizations will have the opportunity to explore technical assistance needs in overcoming the challenges they may face while implementing ESCO in their systems. The workshop is on October 9, 10:00-11:00 AM.
