WCC eyes ambitious APAC expansion in the face of pandemic

Utrecht – NL, May 27, 2021. WCC Group, a leading provider of advanced solutions for Public Employment Services and Staffing Agencies and ID/Security government agencies, is delighted to announce expansion of their operations into APAC this month.

This exciting and ambitious business growth will enable WCC to deliver localized services to the Asia Pacific market, helping the region emerge stronger from the impacts of the pandemic and to develop robust employment and security strategies for the future.

The expansion, which includes development capacity and product investment, comes at a time when many industries are experiencing market contraction due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team at WCC is looking forward to supporting APAC territories by investing in its people and communities during these challenging economic times.

WCC’s APAC expansion includes a local hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Leading the expansion are Wai Loon Kaw as head of APAC Software Development who is an established player in the area of software development, and Jason Lau as Service Delivery Manager, a highly regarded professional in the customer success space. Mr Kaw and Mr Lau will be spearheading a team of talented individuals with responsibilities for Sales, Service Delivery, Software Development and Customer Support.

“To be investing in R&D and penetrating a new market during these times is testament to the confidence our customers have in WCC’s services and our people. It is our privilege to have the opportunity to develop labor market solutions that can help Public Employment Services and Passenger Screening Solutions to better enable Border Management services during this pandemic, so they might emerge better equipped to deal with future challenges and capitalize on their successes.”
