They faced a series of challenges, as Malaysia has seen a widening gap between demand and labor supply, characterized by long-term unemployment, low education, and poor skills. Youth unemployment is exceptionally high, worsened by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Perkeso needed powerful job brokerage capabilities, the means to highlight/address skills gaps, and reliable labor market data to help them formulate Active Labor Market Policies. WCC’s customizable Employment Platform Portals offered the solution, and we delivered the MYFutureJobs portal to meet Perkeso’s specific needs. Following the introduction in January 2020, more than 600,000 jobseekers had registered by June the same year, with around 197,000 active employers participating.

CINDE, the Investment Promotion Agency of Costa Rica, has sought to encourage foreign direct investment (FDI) in a variety of strategic sectors. The agency has faced several challenges, including the emergence of the fourth industrial revolution, the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, and a growing skills gap in its local labor market.

Future Up can support up to 500,000 users, including jobseekers of all backgrounds. • WCC competence-based matching strategies, refined monthly, were used to significantly improve the quality.
• As a result, customer satisfaction grew markedly. In fact, partners now give priority to jobseekers offered by VDAB.
